On this page
Enquiries is your inbox for people who contact you through EventMann — a form on your public event pages, not your own email address. Your address is never printed in public HTML, since an address there gets harvested and put on spam lists; the form is what replaced it.
What you can do here
- See every enquiry sent to you: the sender’s name and email, their message, when it arrived, and the event it is about (where it is about one).
- The header shows how many are New, Handled, and the total; filter the list to All, New or Handled.
- Mark handled or Mark new on any enquiry — a status you set for yourself, so you can tell at a glance what still needs a reply.
- Reply opens an email addressed straight to the sender.
- A settings panel on this page holds your reply-time line and the on/off switch for the form itself (see below).
- View form opens your public contact form in a new tab, exactly as a visitor sees it.
How an enquiry reaches you
- A visitor fills in the form on one of your event pages, or your general contact form if you have one.
- You get it two ways at once: as an email, and as a row on this page. The row is what survives if you delete the email.
- The email’s reply-to is set to the sender, so replying from your inbox goes straight to them — you do not need to copy their address anywhere.
- The form is protected against automated submissions, so what lands here is from a real visitor.
The reply-time line and the form switch
- You can write a line saying what people can expect — for example “We reply within two working days”. It shows above your public contact form, before somebody writes.
- It is free text in your own words. The platform sets no default and enforces nothing — a reply time is your promise, not ours. Leave it empty to show nothing.
- Both the reply-time line and the switch that turns the form on or off are edited here, alongside the messages they govern.
- Switching the form off means nobody can write to you through EventMann; the page tells you plainly that it is off.
Good to know
- The platform’s own contact form is separate from yours. An enquiry sent to you is never visible to EventMann administrators, and the platform’s own messages never appear in your list.
- The sender’s email address is shown on the row. This page is behind your login and replying is the point.
- “Handled” is your own marker for your own inbox — the sender never sees it and it changes nothing about the enquiry itself.
Troubleshooting
- I am not getting any enquiries — check the form is switched on in the settings panel here, then use View form to see what a visitor actually sees.
- Somebody says they could not find how to contact me — the contact button lives on your event page and it opens the form, not an email address; there is nothing else to point people at.
- I replied and heard nothing — a reply leaves the platform as an ordinary email to the sender’s address; there is no thread here to check for a response.
