Our Commitment

EventMann is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards to ensure we provide equal access to all users.

Conformance Status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.

Measures Taken

Semantic HTML is used throughout the platform to ensure proper document structure.
All images include descriptive alternative text where applicable.
Color contrast ratios meet WCAG 2.1 AA minimum requirements (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text).
All interactive elements are accessible via keyboard navigation.
Form inputs include associated labels and error messages are clearly described.
ARIA landmarks and roles are used to support assistive technologies.
Users can customize font size, contrast, and motion preferences via the accessibility settings page.
Focus indicators are visible on all interactive elements.

Accessibility Features

High Contrast Mode — Increases color contrast for improved readability.
Adjustable Font Size — Text can be resized from small to extra-large.
Reduced Motion — Disables animations and transitions for users who are sensitive to motion.
Screen Reader Optimization — Enhanced ARIA attributes for screen reader users.
Accessible Seating — Organizers can mark individual seats and whole sections as wheelchair-accessible; those seats carry a wheelchair symbol on the seat map and in the seat list, and can be filtered to show only accessible seats.
Keyboard Seat Selection — Every seat map offers a seat list: real buttons you can reach by keyboard, each announcing its section, row, price, accessibility and availability, with selection confirmed in a live region.

Known Limitations

While we strive for full accessibility, some limitations may exist:

Interactive seat maps: The graphical seat map itself is pointer-only and is hidden from assistive technology rather than exposed as unusable graphics. The seat list beside it is the equivalent path and supports full keyboard and screen-reader selection.
Accessible seating data: Whether a seat is marked wheelchair-accessible is entered by the event organizer. We provide the tools and show what they record, but we cannot verify the physical accessibility of a venue — if it matters to your booking, please confirm with the organizer.
User-uploaded content: Images and media uploaded by event organizers may not always include alt text or captions. We encourage organizers to provide accessible content.
PDF tickets: Generated PDF tickets include text-based content but may not be fully optimized for all screen readers.
Live chat widgets: Third-party chat integrations may not fully conform to WCAG standards.

Third-Party Content

Our platform may include third-party content, such as embedded maps, payment forms, and social media widgets. While we select third-party providers who prioritize accessibility, we cannot guarantee full conformance of content outside our direct control. We actively work with our partners to improve accessibility across all integrations.
